Adobe Photoshop not extended enough
This is hugely annoying – I can’t quite imagine why Photoshop needs to have a ‘layer group nesting limit’? Maybe I need to reconsider the way I create my page comps…

I just ran into this problem and it’s driving me insane. There’s no way I’m converting this into a smart object and forced to editing it every time i need to access my files. How could Adobe NOT give a setting for this? Argh. I feel your pain.
